Mike McCabe

Mike has been practicing yoga since 2014 and was initially drawn to yoga for its benefits in developing strength and flexibility.  He soon discovered that while yoga certainly builds these physical characteristics, it also has a much deeper spiritual foundation.  Yoga is central to Mike’s personal explorations in spirituality, compassion, and care for all living things.

Mike strives to make his classes welcoming, accessible, meaningful, and occasionally even musical.  Following a classical Vinyasa sequence, Mike also incorporates customizations and a variety of postures to allow students to grow and challenge themselves while remaining stable and comfortable on the mat.  Aligning body, breath and movement, Mike brings a mindfulness approach to yoga, and a calm style that encourages and reassures.
